WHEN ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
Moments. They're fleeting but indelible and in sum they say it all.
To kick off a new website and fundraising effort, the Fairmount Center for the Arts asked for a new brand video. It took only one meeting with two board members (one with a very successful marketing career and the other, a seasoned journalist) and the center's executive director to set the creative direction.
During the discussion many initial "must haves" became "not needed". Talking points like size of enrollment; number of classes; even interviews with faculty and volunteers hit the scrap heap. In the end, we decided the video needed to be a conversation starter not a course catalog.
The goal – show the spirit of the center by capturing the moments that occur in all its studios, every day. Show what it feels like to make art. Show what it looks like to be yourself.
